Tera was born and raised in Manhattan Beach, California, where as a child, she had a fascination with her environment. After attending UCLA’s acclaimed Interior Architectural Design program, Tera founded Manhattan Sash and Door, an interior and exterior design supplier and consultancy. As her business thrived, Tera became captivated with the way that environments transform and enrich peoples’ experiences. She then discovered the ancient art of Feng Shui, a philosophy which articulated the same relationship between environment and experience that Tera had observed in the field. After selling her successful sash and door business, Tera fully immersed herself in the study of Feng Shui, earning her certification as a Feng Shui practitioner from the Western School of Feng Shui in San Diego. Freshly empowered through her study of Feng Shui, Tera founded Pure Life Designs. Filled with appreciation, Tera has dedicated her life to the study of how to arrange environments to enhance peoples’ lives. For Tera, sharing her life’s work with her clients is her greatest joy.

This potent design process helps us to stay connected on all levels – to the external environment in which we live as well as our own interpersonal goals – promoting a lifetime of comfort, success and balance.
